So, a little more about Centralia, PA. The old coal mining town that is still burning underground. Now you will find these “Wind Farms” heading into town. This farm has 64 wind turbines across the Locust Mountain Ridge Line. This wind farm produces 128 megawatts of electricity. Enough to power 64,000 homes in PA. It’s very ironic seeing this new clean energy and then going through #centralia that was destroyed completely by mining. Really awesome to get to give Jade, our 11 year old, this little piece of history this trip! Hell, I was crazy intrigued with it all. #windfarms
