The much anticipated documentary, CENTRALIA, Pennsylvania’s Lost Town premiered in Pottsville, Pennsylvania on May 6, 2017. Directed by Joe Sapienza II, the film follows the story of Centralia and its infamous mine fire through the perspectives of former and current residents, the government’s own actions, and local news archives.

Screening is open to students and the public. Director Joe Sapienza will be in attendance to co-host the screening along with Robert Hughes from EPCAMR with additional footage from four several clean-up events in Centralia with over 15 tons of trash removed and over 400 tires since 2015.
